15.06.2019. Today is the Day of National Salvation!

On June 15, 1993, the great leader Heydar Aliyev was elected chairman of the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan. In the first years of independence, our people, who were faced with a serious socio-political crisis, civil war, saw solutions to these problems in Heydar Aliyev and called on this brilliant man to rule.
The Great Leader courageously took upon himself the liberating mission of the people, despite the great risks, and saved the young independent republic from its collapse and loss of independence. This day was a turning point in the fate of our country. Since 1997, with the decision taken by the Milli Majlis, began to celebrate June 15 as the Day of National Salvation.
